We would like you to meet our employee, Franklin Nain. Franklin is a BAS Technician in our Tulsa branch, and Franklin has worked at ES2 for almost four years.
Are you originally from Oklahoma?
No, I was born and raised in Bolivar, Venezuela. I have lived in Tulsa for approximately five years.
Tell me about any certifications, degrees, or training you have?
I graduated as an Electronic Engineer in Venezuela in 2016. I took several PLC programming and installation courses in Venezuela before moving to the USA.
Tell me what your experience working for ES2 has been like?
Well, my experience at ES2 has been a challenge from day one. When I started working, I did not speak the language at all, but luckily, I had a group of colleagues who taught me something new every day. The knowledge of controls I already had also helped me adapt quickly to the work requirements.
What is your favorite aspect of your job?
I like it when, at the beginning of the day, a problem arises, and at the end of the day, we manage to solve it. I always try to apply what I've learned from each job to the next job. I would say that the lesson that each problem teaches me is the aspect that I like the most.
Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
I like sports a lot, and I like to watch and analyze them, especially with my dad and in my free time. If the weather permits, I like to play tennis.
Are you a sports fan?
I don't have a favorite team, but I like baseball, and I follow each Venezuelan player and watch their performance.
Are you married? Do you have children?
Yes, I have been married to my beautiful wife for five years, and we don't have children for now, but we have a dog that almost behaves like a baby, and we love her very much.
